Grain Silos in Frenaros 770

Structural and Seismic analysis, design and supervision for the construction of 8 new Grain Silos of approximately 11m diameter and 19m height each. Project involved analysis and designing of all reinforced concrete footings for the new Silos, construction details and specifications regarding the supporting of the superstructure of the Silos and analysis and design for the steel structures of Intake Halls and Head House. Both Intake Halls and the Head House include basement levels comprising reinforced concrete walls, columns, beams and slabs. Steel structures are supported on mat foundation 70cm thick. The designing also involved general external works, drainage channels and circulation ducts and trenches.
